The BERNINA Activa range makes sewing easy and fun. Everything you need is just a button push away. To choose the stitch you want and simply key in its number. Clear illustrations show what is available and your selection appears on screen. Press the stitch adjustment buttons at any time to change the zigzag width or length. Secure a seam by tapping the large quick reverse button just above the needle.
The needle can stop either up and out of your sewing for removing your work or in the fabric for easy and accurate turning. The needle threading device, comfortable foot pedal and half speed option make using the machine a joy. For sewing large pieces the convenient sew table is indispensable as is the knee-lifter (optional) that lets you keep both hands on your work at all times.
All Activa models have the traditional BERNINA CB steel shuttle which creates the highest quality stitching. The powerful DC motor and electronic foot control ensure quality sewing through the thickest fabrics.
The Activa machines include an innovative way to store your accessories. Special fixtures for presser feet and bobbins, as well as space for other items means everything you need is always at your finger tips. When not in use the machine and accessory box fit together and with the compact design and built in handle you are ready to carry it anywhere.
