The BERNINA 1300MDC Overlocker is a 2,3,4 thread overlocker and cover stitch machine with up to 24 stitch combinations, push button release swing-out upper-knife arm and built in roll hemming at the flick of a lever.

Over edge thread length can be set accurately and easily with mtc (Micro Thread Control).

What is mtc (micro thread control)?

Until now, if you were sewing thin fabric and wanted to adjust the seam width, you would have had to reset the thread tension separately then adjust the cutting width. mtc saves you from this tedious task. It lets you set the thread tension once, even if you alter the cutting width and fabric thickness. Instead, the seam is fine-tuned using the mtc knob.

• Overedge thread length need only be set once the stitch tongue moves with the knife.
